Dear SBA Members,

Yesterday afternoon I left the Salvation Army at 222 E. Indiana, and I wish you all could have seen it: a line of cars two blocks long, moving quickly, as families picked up food, hygiene items, diapers, and other short-term needs. I shot a short video there — it's attached.

This is the follow-on to our business attire drive — that weekend outpouring of five trailers and four truckloads — which District 81 distributed to families at Shadle Park through today. The handoff is now complete: if you have more business attire or clothing to give, drop-offs now go to the Salvation Army at 2020 N. Division, at the east end of their complex. If you or your employees need to pick things up, that's happening at 222 E. Indiana — and they're doing a great job.

Hats off to the Salvation Army, and to every one of you who continue to give and to help. We’re all reminded over and over again this generosity all around us is simply part of Spokane's DNA!
